FAQ and User Guide

A practical guide to the current RegisAI release: what it does, how to use it, what each plan unlocks, and where professional judgement remains essential.

How to use RegisAI

1

Set the context

Create or select a company profile, then confirm the jurisdiction and framework you want to review. Companies House enrichment uses public UK register data when available.

2

Add evidence or a scenario

Upload a supported PDF, paste policy text, or describe a practical compliance scenario. Remove information that is not needed for the review.

3

Run a bounded analysis

RegisAI maps the supplied material to the selected requirement library and produces draft strengths, gaps, risk ratings, and next steps.

4

Review the evidence

Check the cited rule, source material, scope, and reasoning. Edit draft remediation and add reviewer notes where needed.

5

Record the decision

Save the work to the audit history, generate a report where available, and keep qualified human approval in the loop.

i
Always verify citations and outputs against the current primary source. RegisAI supports compliance work; it does not replace legal, regulatory, or professional compliance advice.

Product and coverage

Q:What is RegisAI?

RegisAI is an MVP compliance intelligence workspace. It combines company context, policy and evidence review, scenario analysis, governance assessment, monitoring, reports, and a reviewable audit trail.

Q:Who is it for?

It is designed for compliance, legal, risk, governance, and operations professionals, including advisers who need a structured first pass before qualified review.

Q:Which jurisdictions are available?

The UK is the default workspace and is available on Free. Premium accounts can also use the current EU and US libraries. The product shows the frameworks included in each library; coverage is not exhaustive.

Q:How current is regulatory monitoring?

RegisAI stores and displays monitoring items from configured sources. Freshness depends on the source, ingestion schedule, and deployment configuration, so important changes should always be checked against the relevant regulator or official publication.

Q:Does RegisAI replace a lawyer or compliance professional?

No. Findings, summaries, citations, and remediation language are draft operational materials. Your organisation remains responsible for professional review, decisions, policies, and filings.

Plans and billing

Q:What is included in Free?

Free currently includes the UK workspace, up to three compliance audits and ten scenario analyses, plus the other Free features shown on the pricing page.

Q:What does Premium include?

Premium is currently £19 per month and increases the included monthly audit and scenario allowances to 30 and 100. It also unlocks the current EU and US libraries and other Premium features shown before checkout.

Q:How does the trial work?

Eligible new Premium subscriptions may receive a three-day trial through Stripe. The checkout screen is the source of truth for trial eligibility, price, tax, and renewal details.

Q:What are top-ups?

Where enabled, top-ups are one-time purchases that add usage credits. They do not replace or create a recurring plan. Current packs and prices are displayed in the billing area.

Security, privacy, and AI

Q:Can another user see my documents?

Customer records are scoped with database row-level security and documents use per-user storage paths and access policies. The current MVP is designed for individual accounts rather than a completed multi-user role system.

Q:What is sent to the AI provider?

For document analysis, the server extracts and sends a bounded text sample of up to 12,000 characters, not the original PDF. Drafting sends the relevant finding context. Remove unnecessary sensitive information before use.

Q:Are documents used to train AI models?

RegisAI does not use documents to train models. The current provider is Anthropic, whose commercial API terms state that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default. Those provider terms can change and remain the authoritative source.

Q:Where is primary data stored?

The Supabase project stores primary account, database, and document data in AWS Europe (Ireland). Some service providers may process limited information elsewhere under their applicable safeguards.

Q:How do I delete data?

You can delete documents from the product. For complete account deletion or a privacy request, email privacy@regisai.dev. Save any records you need before deleting them.
