Legal terms

Terms of Service

Effective 11 July 2026 · Last updated 11 July 2026

These terms govern access to and use of the RegisAI MVP. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

1. Who may use RegisAI

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use RegisAI for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for it and that "you" includes that organisation.

You must provide accurate account information, keep sign-in credentials secure, and tell us promptly at security@regisai.dev if you suspect unauthorised access.

2. The MVP service

RegisAI provides company-context, policy and evidence review, scenario analysis, governance assessment, regulatory monitoring, reporting, and human-review workflows. Features may be unavailable, changed, or environment-gated while the MVP is developed.

The UK workspace is the default and is available on the Free plan. Premium accounts can also access the current EU and US libraries. Every library is limited to the frameworks shown in the product and is not an exhaustive statement of law.

!
RegisAI does not provide legal, regulatory, or professional compliance advice. AI-generated findings, citations, summaries, and drafted language are informational working materials. A qualified person must verify them and remains responsible for decisions and filings.

3. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Submit content you do not have the right or lawful basis to process.
  • Use RegisAI for unlawful, deceptive, harmful, or abusive activity.
  • Attempt to access another account, bypass limits or security controls, or disrupt the service.
  • Reverse engineer or systematically extract the application, regulatory libraries, prompts, or models except where law expressly permits it.
  • Resell, sublicense, scrape, or automate access in a way that is not expressly authorised.
  • Treat an AI output as final professional advice without appropriate human review.

4. Your content and responsibility

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give RegisAI and its service providers the limited permission needed to host, process, transmit, and display it to provide and secure the service.

You are responsible for choosing what to upload, checking that personal and confidential data is appropriate for processing, reviewing outputs, maintaining your own records, and meeting all obligations that apply to your organisation.

5. Plans, billing, and cancellation

The Free plan provides the allowances displayed on the pricing page. Premium is currently listed at £19 per month and may include a three-day trial for eligible new subscriptions. Usage limits and included features are shown before purchase and may be updated for future billing periods.

Where available, one-time top-ups add usage credits and do not create a recurring subscription. Stripe processes payments. Taxes, exchange treatment, and bank charges may apply.

You may cancel Premium through the available billing controls. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. Payments and top-ups are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase. If a payment fails, paid access may be restricted.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep RegisAI available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may maintain, suspend, limit, or change the MVP to protect users, comply with law, respond to provider changes, or improve the service.

We may suspend or close an account for a material breach, security risk, non-payment, or unlawful use. Where practical, we will provide notice and a chance to export appropriate records.

7. Intellectual property

RegisAI, its interface, software, workflow design, and curated libraries remain owned by their respective rights holders. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is active.

You may use and adapt outputs generated for your account, subject to applicable law, third-party rights, and your obligation to review them. We do not guarantee that generated content is unique.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The MVP and its outputs are provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, RegisAI is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, business interruption, regulatory penalties, or decisions made in reliance on unreviewed outputs. Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Privacy, termination, and governing law

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled. You may stop using the service and request account deletion. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will survive.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you rights to bring a claim elsewhere.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the MVP changes. Material changes will be dated here and, where appropriate, communicated before taking effect. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
